Liputan6.com, Ubud - The victim of a landslide in Banjar Begawan, Melinggih Kelod Village, Payangan, Ubud, Bali was finally found. Victim MS (8) another victim who was buried by the landslide was found dead on Friday (11/26/2021).

-When found by the joint SAR team, the victim was face down and pinched by a bamboo tree branch. With the discovery of these victims, all landslide victims have been found. All victims are suspected to be victims of landslides after rafting in the area.

The coordinator of the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas Bali) rescue team, Komang Sudiarsa, said the search had been carried out since this morning and the SAR team was continuing to search by clearing landslide materials.

"This is the last victim sought by the joint SAR team. Previously, three people survived and two others died," said Sudiarsa in Bali, Friday (11/26/2021).

He said that after the victim's body was found, the search would be stopped, because according to the reports of witnesses, the number of victims was complete, from the dead to the survivors.

"The joint SAR team has completed the evacuation of all victims of the landslide that occurred on Thursday afternoon yesterday," he said.

On the other hand, the Head of the Bali Basarnas Office, Gede Darmada, expressed his appreciation to all the combined SAR elements involved in the search and rescue operation for the landslide that -

Meanwhile, the search operation for the second day of the landslide involved joint SARs including the Bali Basarnas, Bali Police Mobile Brigade, Bali Police Ditsamapta, Gianyar BPBD, Gianyar Police, Payangan Police, Payangan Koramil, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas Melinggih Village, PMI Gianyar, Tagana Gianyar. , SAI Rescue, Payangan Hospital and the local community.
