Prabowo Sued for IDR 501 Billion by Gerindra Firefighter Cadre in Blora

Member of the Blora Regency DPRD, Setiyadji Setyawidjaja, has sued Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto for compensation of Rp501 billion. Setiyadji did not accept being fired from the party.

Setiyadji's lawsuit is registered in case number 1092/Pdt.Sus-Parpol/2021/PN JKT.SEL at the South Jakarta District Court. The lawsuit was registered on Monday (29/11).

-In his lawsuit, Setiyadji sued three parties, namely; Prabowo as Defendant I, Chairman of the DPP Gerindra Honorary Council Habiburokhman as Defendant II, and Chairman of DPD Gerindra Central Java Abdul Wachid as Defendant III.

"To punish Defendant I, Defendant II, and Defendant III together to pay compensation to the plaintiff in cash for both material and immaterial losses to the Plaintiff in the amount of Rp501,100,000,000," reads Setiyadi's petition, as quoted from the Information System. Case Investigation (SIPP) South Jakarta District Court, Thursday (2/12).

Setiyadji also requested that the court order Prabowo to rehabilitate his dignity, status and position as before. He also asked the court to state that this decision could be carried out in advance despite an appeal, cassation, or other legal remedies.

Then, he asked the court to declare his dismissal from the Gerindra Party invalid or null and void.

In addition, he requested that the court order Abdul Wachid as Defendant III to revoke the letter from the Central Java Gerindra DPD regarding the proposed dismissal of members of the Gerindra faction in the Blora DPRD because it violated the Gerindra Party's Articles of Association and was considered inactive and disloyal to the party. Compiled from various sources, Setiyadji was fired as a Gerindra cadre because he was considered disobedient to the party.
